Shots & GIGGLES IS JUST THE TICKET

Shots & Giggles is a one day pre-season conference for wedding photographers.

A warm, relaxed and inviting feel and full of relatable and actionable content. Inspiration and info to get you to that balanced business – both profitable AND life friendly.

Why is Shots & Giggles different?

We won’t try and tell you that you can only say you’ve ‘made it’ if you spend days away from your family at destination weddings. 

We don’t think you have to target luxury, super high end weddings to create a sustainable and kick ass business, in fact we know you don’t.

We also don’t believe that you HAVE to be VAT registered or running a 6 figure business to be successful.

We both have healthy, thriving businesses which we’ve built in our local markets in beautiful barns, marquees and country house venues, without a destination wedding in sight. But we still want to learn and be inspired so we have created Shots & Giggles as an opportunity to showcase and learn from our peers and mentors.

We don’t want you to walk away just having seen lots of amazing photography. We want you to have a notebook full of takeaways and nuggets of information that is relatable to your business and that you can implement straight away. 

We are also different because we are new. Truth bomb – neither of us have hosted an event like this before but don’t go thinking that is code for ‘it’ll be novice’. Far from it!

We have been to enough mediocre conferences to know what NOT to do and with our hard earned business brains behind us, we will be putting on the day that we WISH we had been able to attend every year!

WHERE

We have chosen the gorgeous Dodmoor House in Northamptonshire as our venue. A beautiful, welcoming barn wedding venue with plenty of parking just off the motorway, close to a train station and with plenty of hotels nearby.

We’ll be out of Christmas zone, past the New Year blues and gearing up ready for the 2025 season. Shots and Giggles will be perfect timing to implement positive changes so you are ready to SMASH it!

Where and when is Shots & Giggles?

Shots and Giggles is taking place on Tuesday 25th February 2025 at Dodmoor House, Weedon Lane, Dodford, Northampton NN7 4TA. 

It is located just off the M1 On the outskirts of Northampton.

What are the timings for the day?

The event will start at 10am so we would ask that you arrive at 9.30 to get settled in and be ready.

The event will finish at 5pm and the site will close at 6pm.

Is there parking?

Yes, there is ample parking at the venue

Can I get there by train?

The nearest train station is Long Buckby 5 miles away. 

Northampton station is 9 miles away.

Is there accommodation nearby?

Is the venue accessible?

Dodmoor House is very accessible, with slopes in the courtyard and ramps available if needed. The bar is located upstairs and as they are Grade 2 listed they do not have a lift, we will however help you throughout the day if you need us to. We can also reserve you a parking space close to the venue, please let us know.

Will there be food and drink available?

There will be tea, coffee and water available as well as a light lunch of sandwiches and snacks including vegetarian options. Please feel free to bring your own particularly if you have very specific dietary needs.

What if the event is cancelled?

In the extremely unlikely event that Shots and Giggles is cancelled your ticket value will be refunded. I’m afraid we will not be responsible for any additional costs such as accommodation or travel.

How do I get my ticket?

Purchase your ticket through the checkout. We will not be issuing paper tickets but will ask your name on entry to the event

Can I get a refund if I change my mind?

You have a 14 day cooling off period but I’m afraid outside of that we are unable to issue a refund for your ticket.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

A notebook and pen, any specific food or drink items that you would like and most importantly eagerness, enthusiasm and excitement. We think it will be such a great day.

Will it be the right conference for me?

Shots and Giggles will be relaxed, informative, inspirational and full of networking opportunities. It won’t be intimidatingly big, boring, patronising or unrelatable. The hosts and the speakers are all super approachable and it will an amazing pre wedding season appetiser day.
